Thank you for your interest in serving as a Community Co-op Instructor (CCI) with Christian Home Educators Support System (CHESS).
Our Community Co-op Instructors are individuals from the community who have expertise, experience, or a passion for teaching and desire to invest in homeschool students through Christ-centered education. Whether you are a professional, skilled tradesperson, entrepreneur, artist, ministry leader, retiree, college student, or simply someone who enjoys teaching, we welcome your interest in serving.
At CHESS, we believe that learning is enriched when students are exposed to knowledgeable instructors who not only teach with excellence but also model biblical character and integrity.
Because CHESS is a Christian homeschool ministry, all Community Co-op Instructors are required to read and affirm our Statement of Faith before their application can be considered. Submission of this form does not guarantee a teaching assignment. All applications are reviewed by the CHESS leadership, and selected applicants will be contacted regarding the next steps.

Statement of Faith Acknowledgment
The Christian Home Educators Support System (CHESS) is a Christ-centered homeschool ministry committed to providing instruction from a biblical worldview. Because our teachers and volunteers have the privilege of influencing children and representing our ministry, we ask every prospective instructor to carefully read and affirm our Statement of Faith before we can consider their application.
Agreement with our Statement of Faith helps ensure that all instruction, classroom interactions, and educational experiences remain consistent with the mission, values, and biblical convictions of CHESS.
Please Note: Submission of this acknowledgment is required before your CCI Form will be considered by CHESS leadership.
I have read the CHESS Statement of Faith, understand it, and affirm that I can teach and serve in a manner that is consistent with its biblical beliefs and mission.
Please note: Applicants who do not affirm the CHESS Statement of Faith are not eligible to serve as volunteer instructors or classroom assistants.
As a representative of CHESS, I understand that I am expected to conduct myself in a manner that reflects Christian character, integrity, and professionalism, both in the classroom and while serving students and families. I agree to uphold the mission and values of CHESS while participating in any ministry-sponsored activities.
